Timworks World Cup Forecasting Competition - The Rules

Do you want to show us how good you are at forecasting, this time on a slightly different topic?

Then we have something for you. Our first ever…

🥁🥁🥁

Timworks World Cup Forecasting Competition!

What is it, really?

It’s a chance for you to shine with your forecasting skills. Here are the ground rules:

Each day there is a football game, we will be posting the match of the day (our choice) on LinkedIn.

Forecasting - Match of the day: England VS Iran

This is what the daily posts will look like 👈

All you need to do is comment under the post with your guess of who you think will win the game (or if they will draw).

  • Each correctly guessed answer will give you 1 point.

  • If you also put exact score and predict it - extra point!

  • If you get correct guesses 3 days in a row - you get an extra point for the hat-trick!

Who gets to play?

It’s the World Cup - it’s open to everyone, from everywhere! Added bonus intuition if you are an accountant or finance professional (or spend your spare time on betting apps) but there are no limitations.

When does it kick off?

The first game is on Sunday, 20th November and this is when you will get to shoot your first shot! Post will go live in the morning. The competition ends and winner gets his prize in the end of the World Cup (or, when it comes home 😉)

What do I win?

The winner will get the chance to choose between two prizes - AirPods Pro or a Patagonia Fleece.

How do I know how many points I have got?

We will be posting the leaderboards frequently, so you would know if you have made it to the top three.
